Twise announces the launch of a new disruptive TWISE High-Performance Professional Conditional Access Module (THP PRO CAM), further strengthening its portfolio of solutions dedicated to B2B market. This new CAM with its capacity to descramble at least 16 services simultaneously, addresses the growing demand for scalable, secure, and cost-optimized content distribution solutions.
The THP PRO CAM is designed specifically for collective environments such as hotels, residential complexes, multi-dwelling units, and public institutions. Compared to old, deployed PRO CAMs, the THP PRO CAM enables the customers to reduce hardware requirements while enhancing the security level and the service quality.
High-Performance Technology
This new THP PRO CAM embeds the latest generation of high-end Airoha chipset, delivering exceptional processing power and supporting very high bitrates (TS transport, and TS data). Featured with an optimized filtering capacity, the number of remaining useful Elementary Streams (ES) reaches an exceptional level, never achieved.
The ability to descramble at least 16 services simultaneously makes it particularly well suited for centralized and high-density headend architecture, offering a significant performance leap compared to previous-generation CAM solutions.
Scalable and Seamless Integration
Thanks to their modular design, the recent head-ends generations can finally be exploited at their utmost. The headend can remux multiple input tuners and route the signal through one THP PRO CAM instead of multiple old CAMs. Therefore, with the THP PRO CAM advanced performance, the total of hardware is reduced, optimizing the cost of the global solution.
Universal Compatibility and Interoperability
Fully compatible with all major Conditional Access Systems, the THP PRO CAM gives operators complete freedom in selecting their security technology partners. The solution has been extensively tested with different CAS vendors and leading professional equipment brands, ensuring a high level of interoperability and simplifying integration across heterogeneous environments.
Future-Proof Solution
Currently available in PCMCIA format, a USB version is available for testing to support next-generation platforms and provide even greater deployment flexibility. This roadmap reflects Twise’s long-term commitment to innovation and future-proof solutions.
